Lewis Cine is a Haitian-born American football safety for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League (NFL). He was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in 1999 and moved to the United States at the age of 10. After living in Florida, he settled with his family in Everett, Massachusetts.
Cine attended Everett High School, where he stood out in both football and track and field. He was the Gatorade Massachusetts Football Player of the Year in 2018 and the Massachusetts Defensive Player of the Year by USA Today in 2019. He had 65 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and a blocked kick in his junior year. He helped Everett win their second consecutive MIAA state championship.
High School Journey
Cine’s high school career was highlighted by his performance in the 2018 MIAA state championship game against St. John’s Prep. Cine had 13 tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble in the game, which Everett won 35-21.
